About US!

The Book and Artventure Club started back in 2021, during the pandemic. It all began when we—Mayumi, Spencer, and Greta—read the book Change Sings by Amanda Gorman. That first read-aloud and art session was so much fun that we couldn’t stop! We invited our friends to join in, and before we knew it, our little circle grew into a club of almost 20 members.

At first, our adventures were online—reading stories together and creating art through our screens. But when the world opened up again, we finally met in person! We had fun meet-ups in UP, explored museums, and shared even more stories and art.

Now it’s 2025, and we’re ready for our next big adventure: sharing our love for reading and art with other kids across the Philippines. Our dream is simple but powerful—to help Filipino kids discover the joy of books, the magic of art, and the confidence that comes from learning. One story, one drawing, one smile at a time—we’re doing our best to make a difference.
