Making it Official!

Introduction
The Book and Art-Venture Club was founded in 2022 by myself, my sister, Spencer, and my best-friend for life, Yumi, when we were 9 and 11 years old. Back then, it was a little club with a few kids creating art and reading interesting and inspiring stories. Now, in 2025, we have a goal we wish to reach: A future where kids read stories that help inspire them achieve their dreams through the love of learning and arts.
Making the Club Official
We decided to become official after hearing about the kids who struggle with reading comprehension. Our members wanted to help these kids read stories that will help them build their imagination, teach them to draw, color and paint with their newfound limitless creativity. Before we signed the constitution making the club official, we had a meeting to discuss the by-laws of our club, hold a voting for the positions, and talk about future plans.

Signing the Constitution
After we discussed the by-laws and voted the officers, we all signed it finalizing everything we agreed on. This was held at Mom and Tina’s, Sgt. Esguerra Avenue, with almost everyone present. It was a wonderful and memorable event, with BAV members getting reunited and coming together to achieve one goal.

A Statement
Tita Camille said "A little stone creates a big ripple." We are the little stone. We are hoping that we will create something that will make a big impact to the future generation, in our own little ways.
Future Plans
Some of our club’s future plans include reading aloud to more schools, visiting children’s hospitals and orphanages. We also plan to hold charity events and more reading and art sessions. To fund these events, we will have a merchandise store, and join bazaars.
Conclusion
Making the Book and Art-Venture Club official is a huge milestone for us to achieve bigger dreams. In order for us to reach our goal of helping kids who battle with literacy, creativity, and critical thinking, we need your support! Please support us in our fundraising activities, because this will mean a lot to the Filipino children.
